Bulwine Trading

Another great success for Bulgaria at the 24th edition of the Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles 2017. For a second year Bulgaria is the leading Eastern European country and competes suuccesfully with all big wine countries.

The Bulgarian wines achieve the highest success rate. Bulgarian producers send 146 wines. 58 out of them are awarded a medal, which comes down to a 40% succes rate, while the average is 29%.

The Bulgarian wines are awarded 58 medals altogether – 1 Grand Gold Medal, 23 Gold Medals and 34 Silver Medals. 38 medals are for red wine, 13 for white and 7 for rose. In addition, Bulgaria wins another 3 prizes for organic wine.

The Competition was held in the Spanish city of Valladolid in early May.
